We are only a few steps from the beach and the closest hotel to the Batu Karas surf point (directly in front!). This is a place for people in search of a laidback tropical holiday where you can do as much or as little as you like: explore a national park teeming with jungle life; surf fun warm water waves; cruise in a canoe through emerald green river gorges; swim in crystal clear waterfalls; take in a shadow puppet show in a quaint village setting. Or you might prefer to relax around our cliff side pool with a chilled drink and a book…
Our 13 room two-storey hotel is not a star-rated resort, but a small, simple hotel established for surfers and travellers who want to stay in comfort and style at a remote beach location.
Batu Karas offers fun, user-friendly waves but please keep in mind it does not have the consistency of other Indo surf spots. If you’re looking for G-land style barrels or Mentawai-like perfection Batu Karas probably won’t suit what you’re after.
